iDerma was developed by a EMB voluneeting university research team, combining expertise in artificial intelligence, dermatology, and software engineering.
The 12th Scientific Conference of the School of Medicine at AUTH was held on 22-23 March 2024. The conference aimed to promote scientific research and innovation in the field of medicine, providing a platform for students and researchers to present their work and exchange ideas.
With the second place award, was 500€ and a tem certificate of excellence.
My contribution to the project was shaping the idea & design of the application and creating the first prototypes using Figma.
The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Walk AUTh Innovation Accelerator, was created to showcase AUTH’s innovation ecosystem and to support students, graduates, and academic staff in bringing their ideas to society through entrepreneurial means.
During our time at the Walk AUTh Innovation Accelerator, we realized that acquiring the necessary licenses for our original app idea would require a significant amount of funding. With guidance from our team mentor, Dimitris Kourtesis—partner at Ideas Forward—we decided to pivot. We shifted our focus to developing a Zoom-like platform where clients can pay to have online appointments with dermatologists, offering a more feasible and scalable solution.
The most recent Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) was the 88th edition, held from 7 to 15 September 2024 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre. Germany was the honored country, showcasing innovations under the theme “Made in Germany”.
